Hello Musiclovers and especially those of Jazz,
You're probably familiar with our Sunday Afternoon Jazz Session. You know we present it on the second Sunday of each month, and you also know we've been doing this with some pride and lots of pleasure for a good two decades.
All well-known, interesting facts, but now old news.
Recent research, however, is bringing exciting new facts to light. Regularly listening to jazz music stimulates the functioning of the frontal cortex, also known as the prefrontal cortex. This is the front part of the brain, crucial for functions such as planning, decision-making, impulse control, and abstract thinking. It helps regulate emotions, solving problems, and helps exhibit socially appropriate behavior. This area is essential for "higher" cognitive functions and is considered the brain's "control center."
Furthermore, we understand from yet other research that sexual arousal in the brain is stimulated by hormones and neurotransmitters such as dopamine and oxytocin. These substances are released in response to physical and emotional stimuli, which helps achieve orgasm. Sexual release results in stress reduction, but we assume you are all familiar with this.
We would grant you all a clear mind and a stress-free body and therefore recommend that you attend our monthly Sunday Afternoon Jazz Session at Café ZILT. This coming Sunday, November 9th, at 5:30 PM, the following therapists will be on stage at Café ZILT: Dr. Aviv Maya on drums, Ludvig Søndergard MD on bass, Dr. Dimitrias Tsiotas on guitar, and Prof. Jasper Blom on saxophone.
If these specialists can't help you, we recommend ordering a delicious alcoholic beverage at our bar. We have a wide selection and they are available in all sizes.
Come one, come all.
